Olive Branch Baptist Church “adopted” La Crosse Elementary School in 2010. Since that time, our Lunch Buddies have joined the classrooms each Wednesday during the school year to have lunch with them and then spend time in the classroom either doing an activity or reading a book, and even participating in classroom field trips! It brings joy to the students and teachers, and we receive abundant joy from the love that we give! We are there to assist the teachers and staff in whatever way we can through this ministry.

Listed below are ways that you can connect and become a part of this ministry.

• Volunteer as a Lunch Buddy when we have a vacancy
• Volunteer as a substitute Lunch Buddy
• Volunteer to help at the special events we plan for Christmas, and at the 5th grade graduation program
• Donate to the cost of the gifts we give to the teachers, staff, and students during the year
